Power Generation
Geometric Power is a pioneer power generation company involved in medium to large-scale power projects, using modern technologies to deliver reliable electricity to customers.
Generation Expertise
A demonstrated track record in designing, developing, and maintaining cost-effective power projects.
Geometric Power has built a strong reputation for developing practical power generation solutions that support reliable electricity supply. In 2001, the company developed a 22MW power plant in Abuja, FCT, which supplied uninterrupted power to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, serving a dedicated distribution network within Abuja and its environs.
Proven Delivery
The 22MW Abuja power plant demonstrated Geometric Power’s ability to design and deliver reliable generation capacity for dedicated electricity supply.

GPAL
Geometric Power Aba Limited, GPAL, is a special purpose vehicle established by Geometric Power as part of the Aba Integrated Power Project to generate electric power for APLE, the distribution utility company, and industrial customers in Aba.
Through the Aba Integrated Power Project, GPAL supports the generation component of an integrated model that combines power generation, distribution reinforcement, and gas supply infrastructure.
Phase I
Planned generation capacity for the first phase.
Phase II
Long-term generation capacity target.
Substations
New substations to reinforce the Aba distribution network.
Gas Pipeline
Pipeline from Owaza to the power plant site in Aba.
Integrated Infrastructure
The power generation model is supported by new substations, distribution line reinforcement, and a purpose-built gas pipeline that strengthens the project’s reliability.
Distribution Lines
Reinforcing the existing Aba distribution network.
Power Destination
Supporting APLE and industrial customers.
The GPAL Model
GPAL’s role within the Aba Integrated Power Project reflects Geometric Power’s integrated approach: generate electricity, strengthen the supporting network, and deliver power to customers that need reliable supply for productivity and growth.
