Project Overview
Quad Power is planned as a major gas-fired generation asset within Geometric Power’s project portfolio.
The Quad Power Project is a 375 megawatts combined power plant driven by General Electric turbines. It is currently in the development phase and will be fuelled by natural gas.
The project is planned on the same footprint as the power plant of the Aba Integrated Power Project, strengthening Geometric Power’s long-term generation development strategy in Abia State.
Project Scale
Quad Power is designed to contribute additional power generation capacity using General Electric turbine technology and natural gas as its fuel source.
Capacity
Planned combined power plant capacity.
Technology
Driven by General Electric turbines.
Status
Currently in the development phase.
Strategic Location
The Quad Power Project is planned on the same footprint as the Aba Integrated Power Project power plant, creating an opportunity to build on existing development experience, project infrastructure, and strategic energy planning.
This connection reinforces Geometric Power’s approach to developing power infrastructure around locations where there is clear demand, strong project logic, and long-term economic relevance.
